We’re the Tākaro Tribe, five patupaiarehe (woodland fairies) and we would love you to join us in our magical Wao Arapū (alphabet forest), where learning Te reo Māori, waiata (singing), and kanikani (dancing), is lots of fun. Watch us on our animated TV show “The Tākaro Tribe” and we will help each other learn simple words, their meaning, and how to spell them in Māori. Our show is for tamariki (preschoolers) mainly, but we think your mum, dad and whānau will enjoy watching too… everyone has the chance to learn something new!
